Join us for this month's community conversation!

For over 30 years, THE POINT has been fighting for environmental justice with the goal of clean air and improved community wellbeing. If you live, work, or go to school in Hunts Point - we want to connect on an ongoing basis to make decisions together, learn from each other, and build collective power.

We kicked off our Community Convo series earlier this year, and we're back with another meeting on Thursday, June 11th from 1-3pm!

With summer is right around the corner, the theme for this conversation will be Extreme Heat Preparedness ☀️🌡️

Here are some questions we will explore:

Why do neighborhoods like Hunts Point face higher temperatures than the rest of the city?
How does extreme heat affect your daily life? What concerns do you have?
How can we prepare for the increasing number of heat waves & blackouts?
